When I am in Canterbury, I like staying here. This small hotel offers a lot of newly renovated and perfect little rooms. The property serves a continental breakfast. Very helpful people are working. Magnificent and absolutely incredible location very near the Cathedral, you can walk everywhere. For tea and goodies visit Patisserie Valerie, located close by.

Practical king room, comfortable beds. Plenty of supplies in the room: a work desk, a flat screen TV and ironing facilities. Only 15 minutes on foot from Canterbury East railway station.

It was lovely to stay in a small inn-style hotel with a history - gave the place character. No complaints on comfort or services. Great location and pretty good value for money. Breakfast nice.

Excellent central location very convenient for everything in town. Reasonably quiet, being in the pedestrian zone, so no traffic noise. Very good full English breakfast. Staff were polite and helpful. Second floor room small but comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
Steep narrow stairs and no lift - not suitable for anyone with reduced mobility. Breakfast service didn't start till 8 a.m. and was a bit slow on one day. Off-site parking for an extra £5 per day.

The hotel boasts an excellent central location near the Cathedral, ideal for exploring Canterbury. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a newly renovated bathroom. The staff were friendly and ready to assist, which contributed to a pleasant overall experience.
The noise from the street during the night was disruptive.

Good breakfast, nice staff. Close to shopping and cathedral attractions.
Due to a mixup by the booking staff, we were awakened at midnight by another guest who had been issued the key to our room. We screamed. He screamed. He darted down the stairs to report the error. The next day we had to move to a different room which was tiny. There was no way to close the bathroom door once you were inside unless you stepped over into the bathtub. Tiny single beds, like a child's cot.

We would have liked a hair drier in the room, but will remeber to bring one next time.

The character of the place added to the charm of the stay, which was much appreciated after a long day of exploring. it was a bit noisy at times, especially late at night, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep.
